IV Nutritional Therapy

Intravenous (IV) nutritional therapy is gaining a momentum, and has been used successfully by patients with a variety of chronic conditions, such as neurologic, immunologic, or oncologic.

Our practitioners offer IV therapy to patients with cardiac and vascular diseases, and associated risk factors with a goal to reduce inflammation, and increase their wellness and vitality. A special type of IV therapy with emerging scientific cardiovascular outcomes validation concerns chelation with sodium EDTA. In a ground-breaking study reported in 2012-Trial to Assess Chelation Therapy (TACT)-patients with established heart disease were observed to derive survival benefit from chelation therapy, especially those who were diabetic, and previously survived a myocardial infarction. In 2016, National Institutes of Health (NIH) commissioned a confirmatory study, currently in progress, to validate TACT trial results specifically in patients with diabetes, ages 50 or older, who have a prior history of myocardial infarction.

Holistic Heart Centers of America practitioners are participating in this important research study, and offer qualified patients a chance to participate. Please, explore our Find a Practitioner feature to identify practitioners in your area who provide chelation and other IV therapy services.
